Farewell to Steam Telegram

The following telegram marking the SP&S 700's last service run in 1956 was saved by Kenny Prager. Kenny had fired the 700 and was promoted to engineer about the time the 700 was retired. He was subsequently involved in the restoration of the 700 by the PRPA and ran the 700 in the 1990's. Kenny's widow, Laurel Prager, brought this telegram to our annual meeting Dec 2, 2006.
