The SP&S Railway Museum



The SP&S Railway Museum is located at 1511 Main Street in Vancouver, Washington. The museum features many artifacts from the SP&S Railway, including photographs, lanterns, books, brochures, china, historic documents, and displays of locomotive and other equipment parts. The museum is staffed exclusively by volunteers, most of whom formerly worked for the SP&S Railway.

Artifacts display

Museum artifacts include parts saved from the SP&S 911, one of the railroad's challenger (4-6-6-4) steam locomotives. The museum also displays a deluxe bedroom from a Pullman car and features a model railroad that depicts scenes along the SP&S.

The museum is open from 1 pm to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. For more information, contact:
